elidel is a prescription medicine you put on your skin (topical) to treat atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema. Elidel is for use on the skin only. Elidel is for adults and children age 2 years and older. You can use Elidel for short or intermittent long periods of treatment. Intermittent means starting and stopping repeatedly, as directed by your doctor. You can use it on all affected areas of your skin, including your face and neck Apply a thin layer of Elidel cream 1% to the affected skin twice daily and rub in gently and completely. Elidel may be used on all skin surfaces, including the head, neck. Elidel should be used twice daily for as long as signs and symptoms persist. Treatment should be discontinued if resolution of disease occurs. If symptoms persist beyond 6 weeks, the patient should be re-evaluated. The safety of Elidel Cream under occlusion, which may promote systemic exposure, has not been evaluated. Elidel cream should not be used with occlusive dressings. - gris-peg is prescribed for the treatment of the following ringworm infections: Athlete\'s foot, Barber\'s itch (inflammation of the facial hair follicles), Ringworm of the body, Ringworm of the groin and thigh, Ringworm of the nails, Ringworm of the scalp. Because Gris-PEG is effective only for certain types of fungal infections, before treatment your doctor may perform tests to identify the source of infection. Accurate diagnosis of the infecting organism is essential. Adults: Daily administration of 330 mg (as a single dose or in divided amounts) will give a satisfactory response. Children: Approximately 3.3 mg per pound of body weight per day is an effective dose for most children.
